Hiya there. :) Gather 'round, ELF poetry for all! This is inspired by a story I'm writing that has the same title (AT, Alexia, I finally decided...), however, it accompanies the as-of-now unfinished Fragile Sanity re-write, as did the Hardest Goodbye. Sorry 'bout all this code-breaking poetry... but the angst has to come out in some medium, and this is the safest. Notes: Umm... breaks the code. Dedicated to Victor Disclaimer: Amblin and Universal, that's all you need to know.<BR>
Roses planted in the darkness Sweetly blossoming in the dawn A fine dew nestled in silk-soft petals Soon to be gone with the rising of the sun. Freshly dug, the earth here is Newly planted is the grass People come here broken-hearted And leave the same way they did come. Once the days 'round here were brighter More so than the coming dawn Questions, too many to be answered Come in form of grief, and mourn. The others come here to lay flowers And to weep some scattered tears For to them alone, this is a message Truly the good die young. Heaven's gates open wide to you Beg you please, come step inside This is everything you ever wanted While those of us down here plead for your return. If we never showed we loved you While you were among us My friend, we do regret it And if I had to do it again... I would. You're safe and sound now, though With some good friends there too We know that you'll be happiest Fit with gossamer wings... So you can fly.
I'm sorry it's kind of depressing... I'm in another angsty mood... <sighs> Just repeat after me: This is AU. Thank you.
